A beautiful Easter Friday! It seems like I have been waiting for some nice weather for ages and today didn't disappoint. I spent the day travelling around Dunstable before heading through Hemel Hampstead just enjoying the sun and vibrant pubs and parks, people were out and about like it was the last day of sun or morelike the first day of sun! My plan was to head back to London to catch the sunset and I gave myself plenty of time for the hour drive but one thing I didn't anticipate was the traffic on the M25, eventually coming of the M4 I knew the sunset was minutes away and my plan had to be changed... Plan B. The view from Kew Bridge has changed dramatically over the past 2 years with large scale construction and riverside apartments, I have spent many evenings watching the sunset and the only eye soar was a large red crane that seemed to be part of the skyline for so long, gladly it has finally gone! Arriving on the bridge the sun had set and the colours and tone in the sky were awesome also all the lights had come on in the buildings which was perfect for the shot. I had ten minutes or so to take some shots before blue hour hit and the start of night approached. |
