Even though I missed the actual sun going down, I could see one of the largest red suns while walking up to Richmond Hill, I was lucky enough to capture the aftermath which filled the sky with colour. But what I found most interesting was the fog still lingering, the effect it has on the depth particularly when there is a broad rural forest, as if layer upon layer has been built up, mix that with a few autumn colours in the trees and hey, you've got yourself a nice shot. Again I was lucky to see the lights on Richmond Hill Hotel turn on just as I was shooting, this added a little urban evening style to a very countryside look. |
